COVID-19 RESPONSE: Feeding Our Community
Throughout the pandemic, our team has been stepping up and giving back to help our community and those in need throughout Delaware County and beyond.
During the holiday season, we partnered with Visit Delco PA on a hunger relief initiative called. Over 700 meals were delivered to Delaware County area shelters, providing warm and nourishing meals to our neighbors in need.
Springfield Country Club and Tavola Restaurant + Bar also partnered with Caring for Friends to help them deliver on their mission to provide meals to homebound seniors and disabled, the homeless, and families with children in need in the 5-county Philadelphia region. During the coronavirus pandemic, the local nonprofit has been providing food, health checks, and friendship to our most at-risk populations to reduce travel and limit crowd size to relieve hunger, contain disease, and prevent civil unrest. Over the summer, our culinary team prepared over 20,000 meals that were donated to our at risk neighbors.

We also hosted a fundraiser for our first responders in April during an event called Hoagies for Heroes. Over $10,000 was raised and all proceeds benefited our local heroes at Springfield Fire Department and Springfield Ambulance Corps.
